Very welcoming, thank you for sharing the message of hope that comes from living to love.
In my life – Fr. Ron taught me about the movement of spirituality, with the different seasons. The awareness in invaluable for where I am today, reflecting the past, and preparing for the future. In ministry, I will be able to share with others.
At 73 and semi-retired, it gave some guidance for my remaining years, including guidance for relating to my grand-kids.
Like I am on Fire!
Like Fr. Ron said, I truly enjoyed the adult, ecclesial, psychological exchange too! Met wonderful people along this journey as well, to share our thoughts and insights.
I liked how he tied the Old Testament to the New Testament. He brought to my attention how I can lose sight on a scripture passage because I get too focused on only one part of it.
I am feeling more secure in taking a deeper journey with Jesus – more confident to step into service of parish and family and community.
Uplifting, God-centered, enlightening and most importantly “challenging” – Love your enemies took on a whole new meaning.
Outstanding! He is a master scholar, integrating content, storytelling and scripture in presentations and responses to questions…in gratitude.
Extraordinary teacher of Gospel nuances – so very enriching spiritually and scriptural. Loved his humor, time of presentations never long! So engaged in Q&A, answered meaningfully and with great respect.
Well received in my head, heart and deeply in my soul
Fr. Ron is brilliant! He puts words to difficult concepts and helps make it possible to share the info with others. I hope I can remember it all so I can apply it in my ministry. I admire Fr. Ron’s unconditional acceptance of all the questions posed as well as his brilliant responses to difficult topics. With all he’s been through his stamina was amazing. Very good handout! Thank you!
I had a great experience, met some new (and old) friends.
Relaxed, comfortable, knowledgeable. I seldom felt like this was a lecture, but I would have liked more time on the emotional needs of individuals in the seasons of their lives and meeting them.
Spiritual awakening, especially radical discipleship, and deeper appreciation for trends within the Church an d the world
This presentation filled in the Holy Longing and Sacred Fire. It put working with adults of all ages in a good perspective. I LOVED the concept of the washing of the feet of those in conflict to restore peace, reconciliation and humility. Great!
Sr. Janet always brought sessions to a beautiful close with her “tie-up” reflection. Jim as MC has a kind, strong manner. I liked the slide show of previous years! This team gets an A+…good food, ambience, sessions were well done.
As I minister to elders in a retirement community, I’ll use some of Fr. Ron’s comments to reinforce God’s mercy and the importance of forgiveness.
Because of these days I will love more deeply and feel freer.
The music is so important to the overall affect of this Conference.
Tuesday with Br. Al and Steve was over the top…spot-on, a wonderful compliment to all the words during presentations…Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh!
Tuesday afternoon prayer – Prayer to Our Lady of Knots was very meaningful and refreshing. Brother Al and Steve were unexpected and OUTSTANDING! Having them provide music and prayer was like bringing heaven to earth. Thank you…for me, music is the voice of the soul.
Understanding the strong link between physiology and spirituality; that it’s okay if prayer seems boring at times! He fleshes out Scripture so well and makes the hidden meanings so clear.
I found the staff and volunteers most helpful! The meals were delicious and delicious, I am appreciative of the dedicated hospitality workers
